Rodavante's services are located in Airport's arrivals. 

 

A credit Card with funds available is needed to guarantee the payment of any damages on the excess of CDW, and any other cost that may occur on the Rental Period. If not in possession of a credit card, a cash deposit is accepted.The amount of cash deposit is the same amount of the excess,, or having excess exemption, in the amount of 200,00 €

There are optional extras that you can choose when picking up the car.

Rodavante's services allow 2 authorised drivers per vehicle. However the second driver must pay an extra fee of 18,30 € (once).

All our cars are suitable for driving in Madeira Island. It depends what are the costumer requests. Groups A and B, are the most indicate to circulate in the Motorways and city. If Going to the mountains a category C (With 75 cv min.) is the most indicated. If there are 5 persons a category D should be choosen. Also should consider the luggage space. You are not to expect that a category A will handle the mountains in a easy way.

There are no costs for cancellations before rental starts. We appreciate if cancellation is done in good advance.

Vehicles are delivered with Fuel (minimum 1/4 full) . Costumer must return the car with the same amount of Fuel to avoid any payment.

RODAVANTE only collects and processes personal details such as your name, address, telephone number, email address, among other information, where these details are directly provided by you, either by filling out a contact form or through the acquisition of a RODAVANTE product or service.

• Personal Information: Date of Birth, Marital Status, Occupation, Bank Details, among others.
• Credentials: Taxpayer number, citizen card number, customer number, contract number, among others.

In addition, RODAVANTE may also collect the following personal information:

• Customer History: Responses to Satisfaction Surveys, Contract Term, Rental Value, Complaints History;
• Vehicle Use Data: Number of kilometres, record of maintenance and servicing.

3) How and why do we use your personal information?

We use your personal data to:

• Execute and fulfil our pre-contractual and contractual obligations, namely response to requests for reservation, accounting, billing;
• Communicate and manage our contractual relationship with you, to enable contact for administrative and/or operational reasons so as to assist you during the rental;
• Customise and improve your customer experience, being able to be contacted to conduct Satisfaction Surveys on our services, and you can at any time inform us that you no longer intend to be contacted for these purposes;
• act in accordance with our legal obligations and identify the Driver/Client when requested by the Police, judicial authorities

RODAVANTE undertakes not to use the information relating to your personal data for any purposes other than those described above.

4) How do we keep your personal information safe?

We have implemented technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, alteration, dissemination or unauthorised access.

Based on the principle of minimisation and the data requirements, we will retain your personal data only for the minimum period strictly necessary to fulfil the objectives mentioned in the preceding paragraph, undertaking to delete it as soon as it is confirmed that such data are no longer required. Once the maximum storage period has elapsed, your personal data will be securely destroyed.
